A Guide to Hull!

Hi Guys,

This weeks post is going to be a bit different to what I normally do. As you might know, Hull is the 2017 City of Culture. I am lucky enough to have lived here for a while so I have been seeing the effect that the award has had on my home. One of these has been that it has got so much busier! So, if you are going to be coming to Hull this year, here are some of my favourite places!

1) Galleries- There are a couple that I absoloutely love to visit. The main is, obviously, Ferens. It's in the city center and has recently been refurbished. I used to go there all the time when I was little and remember having some favourite paintings. The pride of lions was always the one that I had to go and see! After it's refurbishment I was worried about how many of the classics were still going to be there: they all are! As well as that, there are even some new ones! The 'gold wall' is perfect for instagram!

2)The Indie Wall- This isn't it's actually name: just what I li…

If I was your Girl- Meredith Russo: Book Review!

Hi Guys,
This is the 4th installment of this seasons 'Zoella Book Club' reviews. I read 'If I was your Girl' in September but I've only just got around to writing the review. Luckily, it was a great book so I won't be forgetting it any time soon. With that, let's get on with the review...
As always, I will try to keep spoilers to a minimum!

'If I was your Girl' is about  Amanda Hardy. She's moved schools to avoid the bullies from her past, but that's not the only thing she's trying to get away from. Amanda used to be a boy called Andrew. It's nothing to be ashamed of, but some people in her life don't see it that way. Will the move be a fresh start, or will it all just end in disaster?
This book honestly changed my life. As well as being informative, it was beautifully written and a joy to read. I was definitely not ignorant before, but this book taught me so much and it was amazing to learn from the viewpoint of a narrat…

My Letter to Valentine's Day...

Hi Guys,

This week I am going to be writing a letter to Valentine's Day! I don't really think it needs much of an introduction, so let's get straight into it!

Dear Vaentine's Day,

Hello! It's me, your old friend, Runnerella. I thought this year I'd write a letter to you: just to vent my frustrations. Please don't be offended because everything I say is very much true!

You are entirely commercial. You are a holiday purely founded on the fact that sales have dropped in Clintons and they need the extra money. And we're using the word 'holiday' very loosely here. You go in the same category as Halloween. The non-holidays. The Nolidays, if you will!

Like Halloween, you're fun in principal,Get dressed up, get chocolate and have a good night. But then you dive deeper and realise how weird it is. Am I not allowed to tell someone that I love them every day of the year? What's so special about February 14th?

I, for one, would like someone to love me al…

How To: Instagram!

Hi Guys,

Welcome to this very vaguely titled post! I went for something all encompassing so I could fit as much as possible in to it.To be honest, I have more tips that I could have added so be expecting a part two soon! But for now, here are five of my top Instagram tips...

1) Stay Relevant- This sounds like such a 21st century problem! What it means is that you need to stay on top of trends. Don't change yourself to be up to date: just make sure that what you're posting will have some interest for other people. It will make all the difference, I promise!

2) Hashtags- There is such a stigma surrounding hashtags when there really shouldn't be. Using hashtags is a great way to get your posts seen. When you use a keyword as a hashtag, anyone who searches that term will see your post, which means that hashtags are a sure fire way to increase activity on your pictures! Here are the ones I use: #blogger #lifestyleblogger #beautyblogger #fashionblogger #ukblogger #teenblogger #tra…
