New Year's Resolutions... 2.0!

Hi Guys,

This will be my last post of 2016! How time flies! At the beginning of this year I was a nervous girl hidden behind a screen; although, I am still on your screens, I no longer feel hidden. My page views are insanely good and my confidence has hugely grown! Who knows, maybe 2017 will be the year that Runnerella's identity is finally revealed!

Still in the mood of nostalgia, the start of this post will be a look back at last years resolutions. If I'm completely honest, I can't even remember what they were! So here it goes...

Post on Time- This post was written when I was still posting twice a week. It was so hard to keep up with everything soIi stopped doing that in March. Ever since then I haven't missed a week! Okay, that might be a slight lie but I am waaaay better then I used to be!5k in 28 minutes- Does anyone remember when I actually used to blog about running? My name suggests I still do, but my content is so different! Now I'm more focused toward fashi…

All I Want For Christmas Is...

Hi Guys,

It's Christmas Eve! December has gone so quickly I feel like it's still only the 10th. But, there's only one day until the day so I thought it was a good time to publish my Christmas wish list. I am going to use the typical disclaimer and say that I don't expect to get all (or any!) of these things but it's just inspiration for things you could ask for too...

1) Carrie Fisher to get better- This is quite a new development for something I would like, but it is quite a big one. If you didn't know, last night Carrie suffered a heart attack and is currently in critical condition. She played Princess Leia- my favourite Disney princess- in the Star wars franchise which is something I love. I hope that whoever was put in charge of celebrity deaths 2016 decides to stop. I was distraught about David Bowie and Alan Rickman but Carrie Fisher! Just stop!

2) A new ukulele- I got my current one for Christmas last year and love playing it soooo much! Singing is a big pa…

Christmas Tag!

Hi Guys,

This is my second Christmas post! Writing this really helped me get into the holiday spirit! I decided to do the Christmas tag as you can probably tell from the title. I'm really terrible at intros so let's just get started!

1) What's your favourite Christmas film?
The Muppet Christmas Carol! My family watches it on the first weekend of December, without fail It's still funny, after what feels like the 1000th time. Another favourite is Elf, but after being in the musical, it's kind of lost it's sparkle!

2) Have you ever had a white Christmas?
To be honest, I can't remember one! I must have, though, because there was one in 2010. It was pretty recent too, how did I forget?

3) Where do you usually spend the holidays?
I've never actually spent Christmas anywhere but my house. I think Christmas is a time for family so it just feels even cosier if it's in your house!

4) What is your favourite Christmas song?
Don't make me choose! My sister thinks it&…

A Monster Calls- Patrick Ness: Book Review!

Hi Guys,

I would just like to start this post with a big apology. Last week I spent the weekend in Birmingham at Clothes Show Live! Unfortunately, I didn't manage to upload anything but I'm back this week with my first post in December! Today is my first post of this season's 'Zoella Book Club' Reviews. I have previously read, 'A Monster Calls' so I thought it would be a good book to start off with. Remember, if you have missed any of my previous installments you can find them all in the bar at the top of my screen!

As always, I will try to keep spoilers to a minimum!
'A Monster Calls' follows the life of 12 year old Connor O'Malley: it is not a happy one. His mother has been diagnosed with cancer; his horrible grandma is coming to stay; the bullying at school is getting worse; his dad is living in America. Oh, and Connor is getting nightly visits from a monster! Can his life be turned around by the monster's three stories or is it all just to…
