Body Image...

Hi Guys,

This week I will be covering more of a serious issue so if you are looking for my normal content please go throughout the archives at the side!As you can guess from the title I will be talking about body image so if you don't want to read this please come back next weeks! But, for now...

The models in Topshop. I know that this is already a widely spoken about topic but having recently been into the shop I was, yet again, disgusted. This is a store which sells clothes starting from a size 4 and stopping at 16; the shops main customer is teens. For that reason, I understand that the bodies of the mannequins need to be a certain shape to appeal to the shoppers.

Just writing this makes me feel horrible but I know it's true. Since when was seeing clothes on someone half your dress size and double your height appealing? Probably, since I was born. For years supermodels have dominated the media. They are the people who sample sizes are made for because they can make anything lo…

The Potion Diaries- Amy Alward: Book Review!

Hi Guys,

Welcome to the 5th installment of my 'Zoella Book Club Review Series.' If you've missed the past couple you can find all of them in the tab at the top of your screen. For now, let's get on with the review...

As always, I will try to keep spoilers to a minimum!
The Potion Diaries follows Samantha Kemi, an alchemist, in the fictional city of nova. A hunt has been called to find a cure for Princess Evelyn after she poisoned herself with a love potion. A hunt is huge news for the Kemi's because it could be just what they need to restore their business to it's former glory; with Zoro Aster in their way it won't be easy. Sam is looking for a cure but she mind find her own love instead!

I really enjoyed the plot. I read this book, for the first time, about a year ago so for this series I decided to reread it. A lot of books lose their enjoyment when you know what is coming next: this one definitely didn't! It is the lightest book on the list. There was …

How Blogging Has Changed My Life...

Hi Guys,

Welcome to my blog! There are now officially 100 of you which I am ecstatic about! This post has been made to commemorate this amazing achievement. I know that my last sentence  could sound really big headed but it was a group effort. All of you were the people who made this happen so, first and foremost, I want to say thank you! With all of your help I am one step closer to becoming a journalist.

That is the first point I want to make. One of the ways that blogging has affected me is that I have built up an immense portfolio. Before this, I used to much prefer fiction writing but now I am equally as passionate about both! Also, having this much of my writing in one place makes it really easy for the future. All of this will help me to one day become a journalist because it means that; I get experience every week; my writing is already seen by a lot of people; I have gained a lot of skills.

That fluid transition is leading me on to my skills! Blogging has made me a lot more empl…

Back to School Tips and Tricks!

Hi Guys,

Today is the final installment of my back to school series! If you still haven't bought all of your school supplies (wow, this is last minute) follow this link; if you would like to see what'll be in my school bag this year take a look at this link! Today's post will be my top 10 tips for making the back to school season even better!

1) Have alarms all over your room!-- I normally have no trouble waking up for school, but if you do, this trick is great. If you put your alarm (it can be on your phone, clock, whatever you have!) somewhere out of reach, you'll have to get out of bed to turn it off. Once you're out of bed you will automatically be feeling more awake!

2) Set your time table as your lock screen! -- This is the most modern tip ever but it genuinely helps you to remember your next lesson. My theory is that because I'm always on my phone the lessons are sub- consciously going into my brain so after a couple of the weeks I can go back to my Prison…
