2016 Spring Favourites!

Hi Guys,

Today I'm going to be doing my Spring favourites. I can't believe that next month is going to be the end of Spring. There has literally only been one week of sun for the past 5 months! The weather has definitely not been one of my favourites (why am I always complaining about the weather?!?).

Although, I have been a little cold, I've definitely made the most of the temperature! I've been wearing dresses and even put on some denim shorts- which means that they have to go in my favourites. I can't lie: I did feel a little bit like Taylor Swift!

When I wore them-nice transition- I was on my way to McDonald's to get an Iced Caramel Frappe. They are totally on my favourites list! The new Honey Comb one's are also amazing.

Next, is the Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser. I've been getting quite dry skin recently; buying this was a great desicion. It smells great and you don't need much to make a big difference. I can already see a huge change in the quality of my skin so will definitely be repurchasing. I'm such a generic blogger!

I love to paint my nails but recently I had a bad experience with polish. I used one of the Rimmel 60 second dry polishes that- I bought last year- with a Sally Hansen base and top coat. It was a really nice shade but as the polish chipped through the week it also chipped off layers of my nails! It meant that I couldn't paint them before it went back to normal. A couple of weeks later I used an MUA coral red polish and the result was amazing! I stayed on for 6 days with no chips and was only £1!

November's Essay...

I haven't been feeling very well this month. I took my first day of school- in a few years- on Monday because of how bad it was. Physically, I had a cold. No, I'm not one of those people! (Side note...) It always irritates me when people have a bit of a sniffly nose and then take two weeks off from school. There's just no need! My moto is: have a bit of lemsip and get over it. I'll drag myself into school practically unconscious with a bus stuck in my side and still plaster a smile onto my face. This month, however, I finally admitted there was something wrong.

A day was spent under a blanket with Gossip Girl on. In the end I put 'After Laughter' on and woke up two hours later, confused, wondering why the music had stopped. Even though I felt awful the next day (I always get massive colds!), I went back into school. That day at home did me good though because it was nice to spend some time resting and not being stressed. That's something that I don't do …

A Zillenial on the Eighties...

Now, let's throw it back to the glorious year of 2004. Shrek 2 was hitting our screens, Jeremy Clarckson was hitting Piers Morgan in the face and Maria Julia Mantilla was being crowned 'Miss World' over in China. I, a bit closer to home, was enjoying the early years of life. However, across the sea 'Bowling for Soup' were releasing '1985': a bop that I would only come to appreciate about twelve years later. The song contains references to many pop-culture focal points that I have never understood... until now! It's time for me to explore the eighties!

First off is 'Whitesnake'. For the past few years, I've thought that 'Whitesnake' was one person (a rapper or something? I don't know!) but it turns out that they're a band! The were a British hard rock band who rose to fame in the 80s, originally formed in 1977. Another band that I believed to be a single person was 'Blondie'. My friend recently went to see them, althou…
