Fun Things For Spring!

Hi Guys,

Today's post is going to be about my favourite things to do in Spring! I hate being bored because it makes me feel super down, so I'm going to be sharing some Spring activities to push away the boredom!

One of the main things that I enjoy doing in Spring is walking ( although I do that every season). The weather is probably getting nicer and as well as being great for your mind- getting out of the house is wonderful brain training!-it's great for your body. Even if you can't get very far, a walk around the block is always entertaining!

I also enjoy Suduko! I know, I know, that makes me sound so boring but it's true. It takes a little bit more brain power than walking (doesn't everything) but I like to buy the easy books! You can get whole books full of Sudukos and I really like the Tesco ones because of the different levels.

Start a blog! This is a bit of a harder thing to do than the other two are but not by much! Setting up a blog is super simple and can result in a lot of things. If you would like a tutorial about how to set up a blog I would be happy to do one because I would love to inspire people! I enjoy planning and writing so much so if you enjoy English or Arts subjects or think you'd be good, why not?

Thanks For Reading

A Collection of Failures Through February...

I don't really know if what a clumsy and awkward person I am has been documented enough. Through inference, I feel like it's been made evident. I've mentioned a few of the embarrassing little moments that I've had throughout my monthly's but you are wrong if you think that's it. My life is not just a collection of one off encounters with shame: it's basically a book. A solid 75% of February had been comprised of making a fool of myself, overall. So, here I am, admitting to that fact, and hoping that these stories will make you feel a little bit better about yourself...

The Onion Incident- Okay, I feel like this dramatic title has really pulled you in! Our story begins on a Thursday morning, during half term. I was going to go out to print some photos for my scrap book but my mum asked if I'd go and get her two carrots, an onion and a bag of potatoes. A strangely specific list- I know- but I just accepted it and went off on my journey. I printed my photos…

Why I Hate Rom Coms...

Contrary to what the title would have you believe, romance is my favourite genre of film. I'd say that the first real rom com I watched was 'Pretty Woman' and my obsession had grown since then. However, no matter have much I adore them, I have some issues with the category. Pretty much everyone romance film includes one of these tropes; they wouldn't be a trope if they didn't!

First of all is rain. I have no problem with the weather: light drizzle is actually my favourite weather (I find it really therapeutic to see it bouncing off of an umbrella, okay?!?) but the rain you get in rom coms is next level. It's thunderstorm level of soak, yet nobody seems to have seen the forecast! Surely if that much rain was predicted, one of these people would be wearing a raincoat? It actually doesn't seem to have any kind of effect on the characters, so their lack of preparation isn't an issue. If I'm getting rained on I'm shivery, have stringy curls all over m…
