Spring?

Hi Guys,

It's that time of year again when I welcome back Spring! Ahh, the season of ice-creams, beach dreams and all new movie scenes! I, ever controversial, am not it's biggest fan!

I just don't get what all of the fuss is about! Spring is literally just Autumn that decided it would be fun to roll around in a bit of blossom. The temperatures are exactly the same! Yet- in this messed up place we call earth- it's weird to show shoulders in Autumn. Roll around Spring and outcomes the sun cream! Put your winter coats away and run to the beach in nothing but a T-Shirt and shorts!

People of Britain seem to be obsessed with the little bit of sun! Let's forget for a minute that Spring and Autumn are exactly the same. Let's pretend that Spring is oh-so original and say that the sun only comes out then. Why do people like it so much? You live in the U.K for God's Sakes! It is windy; it is prone to showers; it will always be cold!

Yes, there are fleeting days in S…

Blogging Talk 3- The Blogger Programme...

Hi Guys,

Today I've got another instalment of 'Blogging Talk'! It feels so great to have a recurring series! If you want to read the other posts you can find no.1 here and no.2 here! This time I will be talking (or writing?) about The Blogger Programme.

For those of you who don't know, the Blogger Programme is a website which helps brands connect with bloggers. It has a lot of brands (some small and some larger) who all want to find a blogger partner. This appealed to me because I think it would be interesting to join up with a brand to enhance both mine and their following. Also, I would love the opportunity to try new things!

My initial thought was of the safety. As I don't own a P.O Box, items would be sent directly to my door and I was worried about who could get my address. Well, the only people who have access to your address are the brands that you would like to work with and approve. This was great for me as it meant I had nothing to worry about which just ad…

Songs!

Hi guys,

I normally don't run with headphones in. I haven't really tried because it never really appealed to me but I do wear headphones to the gym. I was recently flicking through my gym playlist; realised that it was so outdated! It's not that I care about having the newest music, I just want music that I like. I didn't like most of it!

I decided that I was going to make use of my £20 off EE voucher and buy some pretty running headphones! I got a pair of 'Sport Performance Secure Fit Chops Hanger Bud' earphones! I would really recommend them! Anyway, I made a new playlist to go with them so here is a selection:

The A Team- Ed Sheeran
A.D.I.D.A.S - Little Mix
America's Suitehearts- Fall Out Boy
Blank Space- Taylor Swift
Bring Me To Life- Evanescence
Dance Dance- Fall Out Boy
Defying Gravity- Wicked Cast
Don't Stop- 5SOS (I can't believe I like a 5SOS song!)
Fake Your Death- My Chemical Romance
Gypsy- Shakira (Love a good bit of Shakira!)
History- One Direction …

Like a Girl

Hi Guys,
As I am writing this it is the 8th of March. This post will be going up on the 9th but I am going to continue like it is still the 8th and declare... Happy Women's Day! Yes, there is a whole day devoted to female equality and defeating the sexism and misogyny surrounding the female gender.
I did not realise until I was browsing Instagram and saw all of the wonderful posts about it! This caused me to research it and I found myself becoming engrossed in the thousands of discussions all around the internet. One of the most interesting and shocking facts I found was that in some countries women are treated as 3rd class citizens.
This was appalling and it really hit me with how lucky I am to live in a country where women are accepted. Although this is mainly true, the stereotypes and sexism which are thrown around without a second glance is still unpleasant. I found a video by Always (Always #LikeAGirl) in which people were asked to do different thing 'like a girl'.
